What is the relation between the number of mined TPC and each halving?
What is the relation between the number of mined TPC and each halving?

What determines the quantity of TPC released in each halving period?

The halvings are directly tied to the number of Minted TPAs (Teleport Plaque Addresses), not to a specific time interval.

Each halving reduces the block reward, which is the amount of TPC generated with each new Minted TPA.

The first halving occurs after 1,000 TPAs, the second after 100,000, and so on. This system ensures that as more TPAs are created and the TPC ecosystem grows, the rate of new TPC entering circulation slows down.

The number of mined TPC is calculated from the number of TPC divided by the number of TPAs Minted in each halving.

For example, in the second halving, the average of mined TPC per TPA is 44 (4,394,000 TPC / 99,000 TPA), but in the first halving, the average of mined TPC per TPA is 4,394 (4,394,000 TPC / 1,000 TPA).

These calculations give you an insight into the scarcity of TPC in each TPA Minting, going from a high number in the first TPAs sold, but decreasing its quantity as they are sold.
